Preemergence plus Postemergence Soybean Herbicide Programs

In fields with low grass populations, can take an approach of preemergence grass or grass plus broadleaf herbicide followed by postemergence broadleaf herbicide. Examples:

In fields with moderate to high grass populations, can take an approach of a preemergence broadleaf herbicide that also has some grass activity followed by a postemergence grass or grass plus broadleaf herbicide treatment. Choice of preemergence herbicide would vary with type of broadleaf weeds present ­ problem weeds such as giant ragweed would require preemergence use of Canopy XL, FirstRate, or a Scepter product.
