1971 Comments: The trees are upright spreading in habit in scale with the area and appear to be a good selection for this tree lawn. These trees are fast growing. Some dieback has been found in this planting.

1997 Comments: The tree lawn width is twelve feet which is very generous. Only one of the original plants remains. There is a little sidewalk damage. A homeowner stated that there was a lot of branch loss during a recent storm. Stubs decay rapidly.
Sixty-nine percent of the original planting survived (27 of 39 trees). The
1997 data in the table are based on four trees.
