1415 Prospect, Toledo
Planted: 1960
Site: 12' Tree Lawn
1971 Comments: These trees are uniform in size and shape. Their ultimate height will probably pose a problem since there are power lines directly overhead on one side of the street. They are located close to the sidewalk side of the tree lawn and provide a setting for the older houses, which have a very shallow setback from the street.
| 1967 | 1968 | 1969 | 1970 | 1997 | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Height | 19.4' | 21.8' | 23.8' | 28.4' | 41.0' |
| Caliper | 3.2" | 4.4" | 6.0" | 7.5" | 20.1" |
| Spread | 11.6' | 14.6' | 17.8' | 22.0' | 40.5' |
1997 Comments: These plants are in generous 12-foot tree lawns. They have been trimmed to provide clearance for the overhead power lines. Therefore, the overall height is less than expected.
Sixty-eight percent of the overall planting survived (26 of 38 trees). The
1997 data in the table are based on four trees.
