1971 Comments: All the trees in this planting are of the typical oval cultivar form and are uniform in size. There are no power lines and the plants have a good appearance in this wide tree lawn.

1997 Comments: These trees are upright when young. There is some disruption of sidewalks even though the tree lawn is wide at 10 feet. This cultivar of Norway Maple has done well in urban sites.
Seventy-five percent of the overall planting survived (15 of 20 trees). The 1997 data in the table are based on four trees.
