1015 Eastlawn, Cleveland Area
Planted: Unknown
Site: 6' Tree Lawn
1971 Comments: The trees are of the typical spreading habit and will create some interference with pedestrian traffic because of the narrow tree lawn. The street is wide and the houses are set back from the sidewalk, so the spread is not aesthetically incompatible.

1997 Comments: Overall, the red-foliaged cultivars of Norway Maple grew slower than their green counterparts. This is consistent with what happened in the Shade Tree Evaluation Plot. These plants tend to be less disruptive to sidewalks. They seem shorter-lived and never reach the stature of their all-green counterparts.
Sixty percent of the overall planting survived. The 1997 data in the table are based on four trees.
