1971 Comments: The trees are upright spreading in habit and quite uniform throughout the area. They appear to fit well into this setting and create a very good appearance on the street.

1997 Comments: Fifteen percent of the trees survived. The plants are unusually good specimens but do not represent the site. Some sidewalk disruption is present, but generally minor.
