The purpose of this bulletin is to identify ways to minimize the impact of construction activities on trees and their environments, and also to provide a rationale for selecting trees to be retained during or planted following construction. To accomplish this, the booklet gives an understanding of tree environment, with specific instructions and diagrams to lessen tree damage during building.
