Bulletin 639

This bulletin is a general overview of seed treatments for agronomic crops discussing seed quality, applying seed treatments, and labeling requirements of treated seed. Also briefly discussed are agronomic crop diseases managed by seed treatments and when to treat seed. For specific recommendations, refer to Bulletin 639A included in this booklet. 639A: Seed treatments are highly recommended for corn, soybeans, wheat, and alfalfa. This bulletin makes specific fungicide treatment recommendations for those crops and is frequently updated as new products are tested.
