* It should be noted that this is a partial list of some of the more common landscape plants. Many other plants may also be resistant to Verticillium wilt.
** The red maple cultivars 'Armstrong,' 'Autumn Flame', 'Bowhall', 'October Glory', 'Red Sunset', 'Scarlet' and 'Schlessinger' have been reported as resistant.
Plants observed to be particularly susceptible include: Redbud, some Maples, Russian Olive, Barberry, Cotinus, sumac, Rose, Flowering almond, some Viburnums, and Tulip poplar (tuliptree).
