Making A Selection

You and your Web browser connect with information by clicking on hot links. Links can be text or images. Linked text will be a different color than the normal text (usually, but not always blue). Image links will usually have a colored box around the image (again, usually blue). As you click on a link, you will move to different information. Once you have "visited" a web page, the link will be a different color. This is a visual cue that a page has been recently viewed.

As you pass the mouse over a link, you should see a change in the link address box (below the browser window). If you think that something is a link, check this change to make sure.
