1.Weather Statement

Frost/Freeze Potential Early Next Week
 B. Precheur
A dramatic dip in the jet stream will bring below normal temperatures early next week as much as 10 to 15 degrees below normal. Nothing like last year.

Vegetable growers with strawberries or high tunnels without supplemental heat should pay attention to local forecasts as we enter the weekend. Protection of sensitive vegetation may be necessary.

On Monday, April 14, forecast lows are to range from 30-32 degrees.

On Tuesday, April 15, forecast lows are predicted to be 27 to 30 degrees in the northern half of the state and between 30 to 32 degrees in the southern half.

On Wednesday, a warm up should begin.
